Will it post things I'd be embarrassed by?

All content passes through your configured guardrails — tone, topics, and brand voice you set in the wizard. You can also enable dry-run mode to preview everything before it goes live, or use the approval queue (Agency plan) to review posts before they publish.

How many posts per day does it make?

Each Wingman posts 5–7 times per day. Plans are based on the number of Wingmen: Solo ($49/mo) = 1 Wingman, Founder ($99/mo) = 3, Studio ($199/mo) = 8, Agency ($599/mo) = 20. All posts include randomized timing jitter so they don't fire at the exact same time every day.

Does it reply to other people's tweets?

Yes — that's one of its core jobs. Each engagement run, the agent uses Grok's real-time X search to surface conversations in your niche, evaluates a limited batch of candidates, and replies to the best one. How many conversations are available per run depends on X's API search results at that moment — during quieter periods fewer may surface. Reply frequency is also capped by your guardrail settings so it never spams.

Why didn't my Wingman reply to a specific tweet I saw?

The agent doesn't monitor X in real time — it polls on a schedule and evaluates a limited batch of search results each run. X's API search is also subject to indexing delays, rate limits, and availability, so not every relevant tweet surfaces every cycle. For time-sensitive conversations, use 'Engage Now' on the Wingman page to trigger an immediate scan.

What happens when someone mentions me?

The agent checks for mentions on a rolling schedule (4× daily), detects sentiment (positive, negative, neutral, question), and replies appropriately. Mention detection is subject to X's API search availability — mentions may take a few hours to appear in a scan cycle. You'll also get a Slack notification if you set one up.

Grok (xAI) — both for real-time X search and content generation. Grok has native access to the X firehose, which makes it significantly better at finding and understanding X conversations than general-purpose models.

Yes. Each connected account (X or Bluesky) becomes its own Wingman. Founder plan includes 3 Wingmen, Studio 8, Agency 20. Extra Wingmen can be added to any plan for $40/mo each. Each Wingman has its own independent config, schedule, and content mix.

What if I want to review posts before they go live?

Enable dry-run mode on any agent — it generates content and logs it to your Activity feed without posting. Agency plan also includes a dedicated approval queue where posts wait for your sign-off.

How do I cancel?

Cancel any time from Settings → Billing. Your agent stays active until the end of your billing period, then deactivates. No cancellation fees.

Is my X account safe?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We use OAuth 2.0 PKCE — X's recommended authorization flow. Your credentials are encrypted at rest with Fernet (AES-128-CBC). You can revoke access from X's app settings at any time. See our Security page for details.
